These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Datso websites, customer accounts, subscriptions, downloads, licenses, updates, documentation and support services. They apply to the current Datso domain and will continue to apply after migration to datso.pro.

1. Scope

Datso provides Joomla extensions and related digital services, including product downloads, software updates, license management, subscription billing, documentation and support tickets. By accessing the website, creating an account, purchasing a plan or downloading a product, you agree to these Terms.

2. Customer account

Access to downloads, licenses and support requires a customer account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity performed through your account. You must provide accurate billing and contact information and keep it up to date.

3. Products and plans

Datso products may be sold separately or as part of Datso Suite. Each plan may define license limits, supported websites, access to updates, download availability, support rights, renewal pricing and subscription duration. The plan details shown at checkout prevail for the purchased subscription.

4. Payments and billing

Prices are shown in EUR unless stated otherwise. Datso operates as a French Entrepreneur individuel under the VAT exemption regime where applicable. No VAT is charged on invoices issued under this regime, with the invoice mention: TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI. Payments are processed by external payment providers such as Stripe. Datso does not store full card numbers. Depending on the selected plan, a first payment may include an activation fee, the first subscription period and applicable non-tax fees.

5. Delivery

Digital products are delivered through the customer account after successful payment and account activation. Delivery is considered complete when the purchased downloads, license access or subscription entitlements are made available in the account.

6. Subscription access

An active subscription gives access to eligible downloads, updates and support for the products included in the plan. If a subscription expires or is cancelled, already installed versions may continue to work, but new downloads, updates and support require an active subscription.

7. Support

Support is provided through the customer account for active subscriptions. Support covers Datso product usage, installation and product-related issues. It does not include custom development, third-party extension debugging, hosting administration, Joomla core maintenance or recovery of modified code unless Datso explicitly agrees otherwise.

8. Acceptable use

You must not abuse the website, customer account, download system, update servers, license validation, support system or any Datso infrastructure. You must not share account access, publish private download links, bypass license restrictions or use Datso services for unlawful activity.

9. Product changes

Datso may improve, rename, reorganize, replace or discontinue products, packages, modules, plugins, documentation pages or services. Such changes do not remove your access to valid subscription entitlements for the products included in your active plan.

10. Liability

Datso products are provided for Joomla websites and must be tested by the customer before use on production systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Datso is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, third-party service failure or issues caused by modified code, incompatible extensions, hosting limitations or outdated Joomla installations.

11. Changes to these Terms

Datso may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The version published on the Datso website is the applicable version for new purchases and continued use of the services.

Payments are processed by external payment providers such as Stripe. Datso receives payment status, transaction references and billing metadata needed to manage orders and subscriptions, but does not store full payment card numbers.

4. Purposes

Personal data is used to operate customer accounts, process orders, deliver downloads, manage subscriptions and licenses, provide updates and support, secure the website, prevent abuse, keep accounting records and comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases

Processing is based on contract performance for purchases and customer services, legal obligations for accounting and tax records, legitimate interests for security and service improvement, and consent where required for optional cookies or marketing communications.

6. Retention

Account, order, invoice and subscription records are retained as long as necessary for service operation, accounting, tax and legal obligations. 1. Software license model

Datso Joomla extensions may include PHP code distributed under the GNU General Public License where required by Joomla extension architecture. Datso products may also include proprietary assets and materials such as design files, CSS, JavaScript, images, icons, documentation, package metadata, update endpoints, license services and commercial distribution materials.

2. Subscription is not ownership

A purchase gives you a limited right to use the downloaded product according to the selected plan. It does not transfer ownership of Datso trademarks, product names, proprietary assets, documentation, update services, support services or distribution systems.

3. Permitted use

You may install and use Datso products on the number of websites allowed by your plan. You may modify files for your own website needs, provided that copyright notices, license headers and product identification are not removed from source files where they are present.

4. Restrictions

You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, rent, lease, publish, mirror or provide Datso products, private download links, update packages, proprietary assets or account access to third parties unless Datso gives written permission. You may not use a subscription to create a competing distribution service.

5. Updates and downloads

Access to updates and protected downloads is tied to an active subscription. The license may allow continued use of versions already installed or downloaded, but it does not guarantee future updates, new downloads or support after subscription expiry.

6. Third-party code

Datso products may include third-party libraries or integrations. Those parts remain governed by their own licenses. Customers must comply with third-party license terms when using, modifying or deploying the software.

7. License keys and validation

License keys, subscription identifiers, update endpoints and account credentials are confidential. You must not publish them or use them to bypass plan limits. Datso may suspend access where license abuse, fraud or unauthorized redistribution is detected.

8. Trademarks and branding

Datso, product names and related branding may not be used in a way that suggests ownership, endorsement or official partnership without written permission.

9. Termination

Datso may suspend or terminate account access, downloads, updates or support if this License Agreement or the Terms of Service are violated.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to Datso digital products, subscriptions, licenses, downloads, updates and support services.

1. Digital delivery

Datso products are digital goods delivered through a customer account. Once a product is made available for download or a license entitlement is activated, delivery has started.

2. Refund eligibility

Refund requests may be reviewed when a technical issue prevents use of the product and Datso cannot provide a reasonable fix or workaround after support investigation. Refunds are not guaranteed for change of mind, wrong product choice, incompatible third-party extensions, unsupported hosting, custom modifications or failure to read product requirements.

3. Non-refundable cases

Activation fees, completed digital delivery, used subscriptions, downloaded packages, renewed access, custom work and services already provided may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel future subscription renewal where recurring billing is enabled. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments or extend access beyond the paid period.

5. Expired subscriptions

When a subscription expires, previously installed versions may continue to work, but downloads, updates and support require an active subscription. Renewal pricing and discounts may be displayed in the customer account when applicable.

6. How to request a refund

7. Payment provider timing

If a refund is approved, processing time depends on the payment provider and the customer’s bank or card issuer.
